Child Safety Standards

Social Compass is committed to providing a safe environment. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and exploitation.

Last updated: December 13th, 2025

These Safety Standards outline our commitment to protecting minors and preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. By using Social Compass, you agree to uphold these standards.

1. Zero Tolerance Policy

Social Compass has zero tolerance for any content or behavior that exploits, harms, or endangers children. Any user found to be sharing, soliciting, or engaging in Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) will be permanently banned, and their details will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies.

2. Prohibited Content & Behavior

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Uploading, sharing, or linking to Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
  • Grooming behavior or the solicitation of minors.
  • Content depicting the sexualization of children.
  • Providing information that facilitates child trafficking or exploitation.

3. Reporting Procedures

Social Compass prioritizes the safety of children. Users are encouraged to report any suspicious activity, especially concerns related to CSAE, immediately through our designated channels. Reports related to child safety are prioritized for immediate human review.

To report an issue:

  • Use the **Contact Us** form available on our website or within the app's settings section.
  • Alternatively, send an immediate, detailed report to our dedicated safety email: michel.rodriguez0321@gmail.com.

4. Content Moderation & AI

We use a combination of automated technology and human review to detect and remove harmful content. Our systems scan for known illegal imagery and flag suspicious patterns of behavior for intervention by our safety team.

5. Cooperation with Authorities

We comply with the 18 U.S.C. § 2258A reporting requirements. We proactively report CSAM to NCMEC’s CyberTipline and cooperate fully with law enforcement requests related to child safety investigations.

6. Compliance with Laws (COPPA)

Social Compass complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we take steps to delete such data and terminate the account.

7. Designated Point of Contact

Our designated safety lead is responsible for overseeing CSAM prevention practices and compliance.
